Sitka, A Community of Heroes
The Board of Directors of the Greater Sitka Chamber of Commerce have chosen “Sitka, A Community of Heroes” as our theme for this year’s 4th of July Parade. The parade will be led by Heroes Grand Marshal Coach Andy Lee and the Sitka High School Basketball team honored for their heroic rescue efforts in Anchorage this March. The parade will begin at 2pm on Monday, July 4th and will start on Lake Street and proceed down Lincoln Street toward City Hall. Registration is required to participate in the parade and forms can be picked up at the Greater Sitka Chamber of Commerce office at 104 Lake Street, or on the Chamber's website at www.sitkachamber.com. Registrations must be submitted by Wednesday, June 29th.

Location
The parade will start at the round-about and proceed to the stop light, turning right onto Lincoln Street and then progressing down to the Katlian intersection, stopping at Totem Square.
