The program trains participants how to provide quality customer service for residents and visitors to Alaska. The objectives of the AlaskaHost training are:\n\n	Understand the importance of providing quality customer service\;\n	Recognize and anticipate customer needs and expectations\;\n	Understand and communicate the economic value of the visitor industry to the State of Alaska\;\n	Learn how to deal with dissatisfied customers in a professional\, helpful manner.\n	Learn how to utilize the three types of communication\n	Serve customers with disabilities\n\nThis training is available both in person and online and is limited to 10 in person attendees and 5 online attendees.

LOCATION:This is a hybrid event\, which means in-person attendees will participate at Harrigan Centennial Hall and online attendees will participate via Zoom. In-person attendees must wear a mask the entire duration of the training and online participants must be in attendance for the entire training. There WILL NOT be sessions available at a later time via recording.
