He will discuss the ASAP pipeline stipulations\, budget\, cost for Alaskans\, project schedule\, current project activities\, benefits of the ASAP project\, and current status of the AK LNG project.  Miles Baker will assist in answering questions and in the event that Dan Fauske is tied up in Juneau\, will be presenting in his place.\n\n\n\nBiography\n\nDaniel R. Fauske \n\nMr. Fauske is President of the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (AGDC).\n\n\n\nIn 2010\, Mr. Fauske\, CEO and Executive Director of Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC)\, was selected by the Alaska legislature to serve a dual role and lead AGDC to oversee plans to construct an in-state natural gas project. The focus of the project is to supply gas to South-central Alaska by 2020 to offset the projected supply decline. The Alaska Stand Alone Gas Pipeline (ASAP) project plan update was published January 11\, 2013.\n\n\n\nMr. Fauske served as the head of AHFC for 18 years and was instrumental in the development of an asset transfer plan between AHFC and the state\, that substantially improved the corporation's credit rating by Moody's\, Standard & Poor's. AHFC has issued more than $7.5 billion in bonds and has contributed $1.9 billion to the State of Alaska through cash transfers\, capital projects and debt service payments. He began his job with the AHFC on March 1\, 1995.\n\n\n\nMr. Fauske serves on numerous boards\, including the National Community Renaissance/National CORE and the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) School of Nursing Advisory Board. He chairs the Alaska Council on Homelessness and has served on the Fiscal Policy Council of Alaska\, Fannie Mae's National Housing Impact Advisory Council\, and Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle.\n\n\n\nPrior to his career at AHFC\, Mr. Fauske served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for Alaska's North Slope Borough. He holds a master's degree in business administration from Gonzaga University.\n\n\n\nMiles Baker \n\nMr. Baker is the Director of Government Relations & External Affairs for the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (AGDC). Prior to joining AGDC\, Baker was State Director for U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski and previously served as her finance and economic policy advisor in Washington\, D.C. Baker spent eight years with the Alaska State Legislature as senior budget and appropriations staff to the Senate Finance Committee and Chief of Staff to Senator Bert Stedman of Sitka. Baker began his professional career as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps\, before working as a media and entertainment executive in Los Angeles. He was a Client Partner in the Media & Entertainment practice at iXL Enterprises\, National Director of Sales & Marketing with Bertelsmann Music Group and a Six-Sigma Black belt at NBC Entertainment in Burbank. Baker is a graduate of West Anchorage High School\, holds a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Masters of Business Administration from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.
