We will examine several examples of rural incubators and how they have impacted their local communities.\n\n\n\nBiography\n\nKen is a US Navy Veteran and has a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the College of Charleston. He is an entrepreneur and has assisted over 20 small businesses in rural Alaska with:   business development   establishing effective social media marketing methods   crowdsourcing and identifying alternative funding sources   website design and commercial photography   hosting networking and business pitch functions His passion is creating entrepreneur ecosystems that help stabilize and grow local economies. Recently he created a locally-made program for the Homer Chamber of Commerce that focuses on emerging mAKers.
