She was raised in Idaho and met her husband from Sitka at the University of Idaho.  She has a Bachelor's of Science degree in business and a minor in advertising.  She previously worked in corporate marketing as an event manager and has had a marketing/design business\, specializing in technical writing and editing\, for the past 10 years.  Kealoha is a board member for the Baranof Barracuda Swim Club and serves on the Sitka Community Playground Committee.   Kealoha enjoys spending time with her two boys\, husband\, and dog in the outdoors as much as possible.     \n\n \n\nJanuary marks the 15 th annual National Mentoring Month.
