Recently\, Caelus announced a significant new light oil discovery from its Smith Bay leases. The prospect has the potential to be the next generation of North Slope developments and would employ thousands of Alaskans during development and operation\, and provide billions of dollars of revenue to the State. The Smith Bay find is of state significance and we would like to celebrate this news with as many Alaskans as possible. We appreciate your consideration of our request to meet.\n\n\n\nBio\n\nMr. Sullivan is a fourth-generation Alaskan and has 20 years of government\, media and community relations experience. A graduate of the University of Oregon\, he currently serves as the director of state public affairs for Caelus Energy Alaska\, LLC. Previously\, he held the same position with Pioneer Natural Resources Alaska\, Inc. Before his years with Pioneer\, Mr. Sullivan worked for one of the largest statewide public affairs group\, MSI Communications providing high level consultation around campaign strategies\, crisis communications\, stakeholder engagement and a variety of other subjects for a variety of state\, national and international clients. He also worked earlier in his career in the Alaska Legislature notably for then\, a first time House of Representatives member\, Lisa Murkowski. Mr. Sullivan serves as the chairman of the government and public affairs for the Alaska Oil and Gas Association (AOGA)\, board chair of the Alaska Chamber\, and serves also on the Providence Alaska Foundation board as well.
