He transferred his membership to the Sitka Flotilla after taking a job as the System Engineer for the City Electric (Utility) Department.  His prior service includes seven years in the Washington National Guard.\n\n\n\nMike Morris - Mike landed in Sitka\, January 12\, 1971 to teach school\, it was a 6 month offer.\n\nMike was officially entered onto the Coast Guard Auxiliary membership roll in April of 2004. As an Auxiliary member Mike teaches boating education/safety classes\, am qualified to examine recreational vessels\, charter boats and commercial fishing vessels among other activities.
