Mark your calendars\, Sitka! Downtown trick-or-treating is on Tuesday\, October 31st from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Lincoln Street. Lincoln Street will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 3:00 pm. Trick-or-Treating is free to everyone in the community!
\n \;\n\nFor Businesses:
\n\nWant to help make this trick-or-treat event the best one ever? Stock your downtown business with candy to pass out to the trick-or-treaters. Previous years have suggested that ~1000 pieces of candy has been the sweet spot for businesses. Any business not located on Lincoln Street that would be interested in hosting a pop-up candy stand may email director@sitkachamber.com to sign up. Bring your own tents\, tables\, and decorations to the event and set up to hand out candy to the kids.
\n \;\n\nMembers of the Chamber may get more involved by sponsoring the Downtown Trick-or-Treating event. Sponsorships include various levels of recognition\, and all sponsorship funds are used to purchase extra candy that will be delivered to downtown businesses on Monday\, October 30th. \n \;\n\nAnyone who so chooses may also donate pre-packaged candy to the Sitka Chamber office at 104 Lake Street. Cash\, check\, or credit card donations are also welcome. Stop by the Chamber office at or contact us at (907) 747-8604 or membership@sitkachamber.com to make a financial donation.
