DESCRIPTION:The Sitka Chamber of Commerce is proud to present our community with a new 8-week virtual program\, the Fall Speaker Series. Join us on December 2nd at 12:00 noon to hear an update from Alaska Airlines' Scott Habberstad.\n\nRegister for this event HERE.\n\nScott is the Director of Sales and Community Marketing for Alaska Airlines in Alaska. He is a lifelong Alaskan currently residing in Anchorage with his wife Amy\, daughter Catheryne\, and son Jack. Scott graduated from Ketchikan High School in 1989\, and then attended flight school\, earning his multi-engine commercial land and sea ratings. He returned to Ketchikan to fly for Taquan Airlines in the summer and attended college in the fall at Boise State University before joining the Alaska Airlines team in 2001.\n\n \n\nScott is active across Alaska serving on a number of boards\, including Providence Alaska\, Regional Board\; Resource Development Council\; Alaska Travel Industry Association\; Visit Anchorage\; Alaska Resource Education\; and Alaska Air Carriers Association.
