A resident of Alaska since 1978\, Dave grew up in the Mat-Su Valley and has had the opportunity to travel throughout the state assisting various organizations with mitigation of wildlife damage.  Some of the projects he has been involved with include the Anchorage International Airport\, Elmendorf Air Force Base\, Eielson Air Force Base\, Merrill Field\, Eagle River Landfill\, Anchorage Transfer Station\, and now the Sitka Rocky Gutierrez Airport.  An avid outdoorsman\, Dave enjoys hiking Sitka's local trails\, fishing\, boating\, hunting\, and watching wildlife. His goal while in Sitka is to continue to protect the lives of people flying to and from Sitka by reducing the risks of bird and wildlife strikes with aircraft.
