Chamber members receive special member-only pricing.\n\n	\n\n	Menu\n\n	Crispy Breaded Sole Fish with Home Fried Potato Chips\n\n	Soup & Salad Bar\n\n	Speaker\n\n	Bill Corbus\, Steering Committee Member of the Make Alaska Competitive Coalition\n\n	\n\n	A self-funded organization\, the Make Alaska Competitive Coalition is a made up of Alaska Native leaders\, unions\, businesses\, and a broad cross-section of Alaskans with the single-purpose of strengthening Alaska's economy. Their mission is to promote a competitive and balanced petroleum production tax that increases investment\, oil production and jobs to secure Alaska's economic future. \n\n	\n\n	Biography\n\n	Bill Corbus moved to Juneau in 1970 from a job on Wall Street to work for his family's company\, AEL&P. He fell in love with Juneau and Southeast Alaska's surrounding outdoors. He was and is a key figure in the fight to keep the Capital in Juneau. Corbus served as Commissioner of the Alaska Department of Revenue during the Murkowski Administration. He was also a Trustee for the Alaska Permanent Fund and a member of the Alaska State Pension Investment Board.\n\n	Known for his quiet demeanor and sound advice\, Corbus' support of the Juneau community includes fundraising for the Eaglecrest Foundation\, serving on the Hospice and Home Care and Bartlett Hospital boards. He is currently the President and Director of Alaska Energy and Resources Company and Chairman and Director of AEL&P. He is an avid skier\, hunter and fisherman\, and enjoys traveling with his wife Katie.
