He played an instrumental role in their becoming the first Alaska health care organization to earn the prestigious Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award.\n\nA graduate of Metlakatla High School\, Mr. Clement earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and political science from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff\, Ariz.
