DESCRIPTION:The 7th Annual Season's End Celebration is brought to you by the Greater Sitka Chamber of Commerce and is sponsored by Cruise Lines International Association Alaska (Alaska Cruise Association)\, as a big THANK YOU to the community for our hospitality over the summer season.\n\n\n\nTheir support allows the Chamber of Commerce and several visitor industry businesses to serve up free hot dogs and hamburgers to the community.\n\n\n\nCo-sponsors include Seafood Producers Coop\, Sitka Sound Seafoods and Silver Bay Seafoods\, who will be preparing and serving salmon and coleslaw\, as their thank you to the community. Additional sponsors include Allen Marine\, Sea Mart Quality Foods and AC Lakeside.\n \nLIVE MUSIC\n\nTBA\n\n\n\nRUNNING OF THE BOOTS\n\nRegistration starts at 10 AM under the big white tent on Lincoln Street\n\nRace starts at 11 AM\n\n\n\nFREE FOOD\n\nHamburgers\, Hotdogs and Fish will be served from 12pm to 3pm\n\n\n\nBEER GARDEN\n\nThis is our second year with a beer garden serving our very own local beer\, Baranof Island Brewing Company!\n\n\n\nThe purpose of this event is for Sitkans to get together and celebrate the end of another successful visitor and fishing season.\n\n\n\nThe day will include the annual Running of the Boots\, free food\, music\, shopping and beer garden with our delicious local beer\, Baranof Island Brewing Company!  The free lunch will begin on Lincoln Street at Noon with live music by talented local musicians while you enjoy your FREE and delicious lunch!\n\n\n\nThe Alaska Cruise Association is again providing the major support for this event\, as a big thank you to the community. This is the 8th year that they have partnered with the Sitka Chamber of Commerce to help the community celebrate the end of another successful summer season.\n\n\n\nEveryone is invited to come downtown and join the fun!
