DESCRIPTION:About this Event\n\nThursday\, October 12th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Aspen Suites Hotel in the conference room for our Monthly Meet-up. \n\n \n\nThis month's conversation will be led by Holly Reeder\, General Manager of Aspen Suites Hotel\, and an active board member for the Sitka Chamber. We'll hear about Holly's background\, learn about how she got into her role as General Manager\, and a little bit about what it's like being a board member for a non-profit. As part of the Sitka Chamber board\, she was integral in getting the Sitka's Emerging Leaders program started. To help Sitka's Emerging Leaders meet the needs of the community\, Holly will lead a discussion about the program's future\, and how we can utilize newly-awarded funds from the city.\n\nEach month we gather a group of young professionals in Sitka for a conversation about professional development. These meet-ups are often accompanied with food and drinks\, and the conversations are led by young professionals in the community. It's a great opportunity to meet new people\, grow your network\, and discuss relevant topics around your career!\n\n\n\nAbout the Program\n\nAre you a Sitka super-star in the making? Or maybe an up-and-coming go-getter? Come join us and the rest of Sitka's Emerging Leaders! This group is for established professionals who are looking to take their career to new heights. With monthly meet-ups focused on networking\, career growth\, and knowledge building - you'll be able to make the connections and learn the skills you need to reach your goals.
