DESCRIPTION:Weekly luncheons are held every Wednesday at noon. Enjoy great food\, dynamic speakers\, and exciting networking opportunities. Chamber luncheons are open to the public. Chamber members receive special member-only pricing.\n\n\n\nExecutive Lunch Sponsor\n\nTBD\n\nUpgrade to the Executive Lunch and receive VIP treatment including cookies and special prize drawings.\n\n\n\nSpeaker\n\nFran Schwuchow\n\n\n\nPresentation\n\nSitka's Employer Resources\n\n\n\nBio\n\nFran and her son came to Sitka in 1994 from Charleston\, SC\, to attend college at Sheldon Jackson College.\n\nShe fell in love with Sitka the minute they drove across the O'Connell bridge. \n\nFran completed her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 1998. \n\nThroughout college\, Fran worked as an assistant child care teacher and after college she was hired a preschool teacher for 2 years.\n\nShe then took a position as a case manager for 3 years and a Program Coordinator for 1 year. \n\nFran began working with the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development in 2004\, with the Career Support and Training Services\, then was reassigned as an Employment Specialist and promoted to an Employment Services Manager in 2016.  Fran's many positions within the department has provided her with vast experience in all aspects of the services we provide to both Job Seekers and Employers.\n\nFran has a 20-year-old son who is attending college in Portland\, Oregon\, studying to be an Elementary school teacher.\n\n\n\nMenu\n\nTBD
