Rob's recent founding of TNSDS draws upon his undergraduate and graduate education\, as well as his experience as a cultural resource specialist for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. With over 10 years experience working in the historic preservation field in Alaska\, he is familiar with federal\, state\, and local historic preservation laws and has assisted communities and tribes throughout the state with their pre-development and development needs. Rob has experience consulting with stakeholders of varying interests and geographical locations\, and developing historic preservation plans for several types of historic properties throughout Alaska. His experience serving on various boards and commissions gives TNSDS a competitive edge over other cultural resource firms in Alaska. Rob is also a Realtor specializing in historic property sales for Northern Trust Real Estate\, Inc.\, a role that adds diversity to his education and experience and allows him to better meet historic preservation and economic development goals.
