The week aims to bring entrepreneurs\, local leaders\, and friends together over seven days to build momentum and opportunity around a community's (or in our case\, a state's) unique entrepreneurial identity. Join in a celebration led by entrepreneurs and hosted in the entrepreneurial spaces you love in Alaska.\n\n \n\nBios\n\nBrit Galanin is responsible for driving client brand innovation and strategy at Element. A sociologist by training with a background in survey research\, Brit combines her acute knowledge of human behavior with her social science research skills to help clients efficiently expand markets and reach new audiences.\n\n \n\nBrit is co-owner of The Boardroom\, Alaska's first coworking company\, and was recently named one of Alaska's Top Forty Under 40. A lifelong Alaskan and a graduate of Leadership Anchorage\, Brit is very active in her community and on the state level:\n\nshe currently serves on the Board of Directors for Institute of the North and the Greater Sitka Legacy Fund\, and is the past President of the Anchorage Federation of Community Councils.\n\n\n\nAlana's Tlingit name is Gah Kith Tin\, from Diginaa Hit\, Luknahadi. She grew up and currently lives in Sitka\, Alaska. Professionally\, Alana earned a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration at Charleston Southern University. After graduating from college she joined the Peace Corps where she served as a Small Business Development volunteer for two years on the southern coast of Peru. She obtained her Master's degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University and has since continued to work in economic development as Executive Director at Spruce Root\, Inc. \n\nAlana is a current Chamber board member\, is Executive Director for Spruce Root\, Inc.\, serves on the Sitka Sound Science Center board and she owns the Backdoor Caf with her husband here in Sitka.\n\n \n\nMenu\n\nTaco Bar\, Salad
