Bailey was named Artistic Director of the Sitka Summer Music Festival in 2011\, following the retirement of founding Artistic Director Paul Rosenthal. The musical excellence of the Sitka Summer Music Festival and series inspires enthusiastic praise from Mr. Bailey. "I am truly honored to carry the torch for such a prestigious festival that makes an incredible impact on the arts and the State of Alaska."
