2022 Economic Summit
This year's summit will focus on Workforce Development will be hosted at the University of Alaska Southeast - Sitka Campus. A virtual option is available for those unable to attend in-person. Click here to register for the Zoom webinar.
Join us for a panel discussion to hear about the Sitka Chamber's Workforce Development Initiative, the needs of Sitka's top industries, and Sitka's employment stats from SEDA's recent Sitka Economic Trends report.
We will share findings of the Sitka Chamber and the UAS- Sitka round table discussions on workforce development. Over the past several months, industry representatives were invited to share their current workforce challenges, future needs and discuss ways that Sitka can better prepare to meet these needs.
