Michelle Cleaver - Weed Dudes
Biography
Michelle was born in Juneau, lived in Hawaii, New Zealand and then Colorado before moving back to Alaska.
Michelle worked in the broadcast industry for 4 years and while vacationing in Alaska to check out her origins, she fell in love and has made Sitka her home since 1987.
She started her own video production company in 1988, worked for the cable company and then taught Journalism at UAS. In the summertime, she commercial fished.
In 2016 Michelle decided to try and make a go of it in the Marijuana business. So much of her life was about education, so she figured an educated customer is a responsible consumer.
Michelle opened Weed Dudes, Sitka’s first Cannabis retail store, (the 7th opened in Alaska) in December of 2016 and it’s been a roller coaster ride for her ever since.
Michelle actively participates in the legislation and well-being of this industry. She believes the new commerce stream will help our Great State’s financial crisis.
