Plan to join fellow creators for the? 2014 Sitka Artisans Market December 5th & 6th 2014 The annual, juried Sitka Artisans Market is a community-enhancing retail fair now professionally managed by the Greater Sitka Arts Council. The event will fill much of Sheldon Jackson campuses Allen Hall and will run for two days from Friday December 5th, through Saturday December 6th and is expected to draw over 2,000 shoppers. The annual Sitka Artisans market provides an opportunity for Alaskan fine artists and artisans to showcase original, distinctive, carefully crafted wares to the public before the holidays. The Artisans Market provides a unique sales venue for fine artists and artisans and one-of-a-kind retail experience for Sitkans and visitors from outlying communities. The Market is also an opportunity for Sitka merchants to discover new products for their stores. The application deadline for juried booth space is due September 15th, 2014. Space rental fees range from $120 to $220 per booth.
